Apple today released two new MacBook Air notebooks in 11.6″ and 13.3″ flavors. The new models are even thinner than before and offer flash memory storage for quicker performance, better battery life, and instant-on capabilities. Four models are available:
- 11″ 1.4GHz/2GB/64GB: $999
- 11″ 1.4GHz/2GB/128GB: $1199
- 13″ 1.86GHz/2GB/128GB: $1299
- 13″ 1.86GHz/2GB/256GB: $1599
2GB of memory is standard across the board, while an additional 2GB for a total of 4GB is available for an extra $100. The MacBook Air SuperDrive is available for $79. All models come with NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics. The 13″ MacBook Air features a 1.86GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, while the 11″ model feature a 1.4GHz version.
