The Apple Store is now offering a Server version of its Mac Pro line of professional Macs. The $2999 Mac Pro Server includes one 2.8GHz Quad-Core Nehalem processor, 8GB RAM, two 1TB hard drives, and comes standard with Mac OS X Server with an unlimited client license.
Multiple build-to-order options are offered, including up to 32GB of RAM, 8TB hard drive space, a RAID Card, and six different CPU options – including a 12-core option. The new Mac Pro Server is available at The Apple Store today with a 2-4 week wait and free shipping.
