Apple Puts Some MacBook Pro Component Supply Streams On Hold

Digitimes’ Aaron Lee and Joseph Tsai report that Apple has recently stopped some of the component orders for its 13-inch MacBook Pro due high inventory, with shipments reportedly down some 20 percent from Apple’s original estimates.

The report leaves unspecified whether the componentry supply slowdown affects the new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display, the old-school non-Retina MacBook Pro (which for some time has been the best-selling Mac system overall), or both.
