Replace Your iPhone 4S/4/3GS Battery For $8 (Or Less)

CNET’s Rick Broida says that while Apple may not make it easy to replace an iPhone’s battery, but that doesn’t mean you can’t do it. And cheaply in only about 20 minutes, the procedure working more or less the same with an iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS.

Proceed with caution, and at your own risk, of course.

Broida notes that iPhone replacement batteries, some shipping bundled with mini-tool kits, are available for $8-$10.
He also advises to watch one or more of the how-to video that can be accessed on the Web.
