QuickerTek, has just created an external battery for the Apple MacBook Pro laptops, including the new Retina display models. The new EyeBattery adds up to four more hours of battery power to the MacBook Pro. There is a model designed for MagSafe 1 and another for Magsafe 2 power connector laptops. EyeBattery is available from QuickerTek and its dealers for $299.95 USD.
Like the rest of QuickerTek’s mobile power product line, the new EyeBattery also charges the internal MacBook battery while it powers the laptop. Usually you have to wait while your battery charges, but EyeBattery delivers “use and charge” capability to maximize time with your laptop.
EyeBattery works with all MacBook Pro laptops, including the latest Retina display versions. With the highest charge density of any battery available, its Li-ion battery elements are fully charged in 4 to 8 hours. You can even charge your EyeBattery from one of QuickerTek’s Solar Juicz solar power chargers.
EyeBattery is also designed to go mobile with you. It’s small, powerful, lightweight (only 1 pound) and constructed of machined aluminum for durability. Made in the USA, it will last at least as long as the MacBook Pro. It also features smart charger technology to eliminate overcharging and potential overheating problems.
