MacBook Air Refresh Looks Like A Go For WWDC

9To5Mac’s Mark Gurman says Apple appears set to release a MacBook Air refresh at next week’s Worldwide Developers Conference, according to information provided by a source.

Gurman says received specific pricing for the forthcoming new SKUs at price-points corresponding to Apple’s current pricing for the 11-inch and 13-inch MacBook Air models, but has yet to receive pricing information pointing to imminent availability of new MacBook Pros.

As for what the new MacBook Airs will include, Gurman nots that Intel’s new Haswell chipsets were officially announced earlier this week, an notes that one analyst previously reported that the next MacBook Air would include an improved front-facing camera. He also speculates that this new machine will carry the faster 802.11ac WiFi chips, and possibly be powered by OS X 10.9.
