Kickstarter Campaign Launched For ChargeSmart – Intelligent Case for iPhone 5, 5s Extends Life of Internal Battery

BuQu Tech (http://www.BuQuTech.com) has announced that the company will launch a Kickstarter campaign on October 1, aimed at bringing to market ChargeSmart, a patent-pending smart battery case for the iPhone 5 and 5S. With a funding goal of $55,000, the campaign will run through October 31.

The company made the announcement on the eve of Pepcoms Holiday Spectacular, an early look at whats likely to be the hottest consumer electronics gear this holiday season.

Kickstarter is full of projects, big and small, that are brought to life through the direct support of the online community. ChargeSmart from BuQu Tech will more than double the runtime of the smartphone while protecting it against everyday hazards like drops, bumps, and moisture. But it won’t stop there: ChargeSmart’s charging algorithms will extend the life of the phones internal battery by as much as 50 percent.

The ChargeSmart Kickstarter campaign will feature a tiered rewards system, acknowledging pledges at various levels with an attractive array of incentives and spiffs. Among the rewards: the battery case at a Kickstarter price below MSRP; an early adopter price below the Kickstarter price; a BuQu Tech exclusive portable mobile battery; and a combination of various BuQu Tech battery products. At the apex of the rewards ladder, an especially generous pledge will secure a trip to Las Vegas during CES.

The ChargeSmart Power Reserve feature will, for example, enable users to set aside any percentage of ChargeSmart’s power that will not be used unless specifically activated – perfect for an emergency or just to ensure that the user has enough power to make it through the day. Users can also turn the battery case on and off, dim the LEDs, and see the real-time battery status for both ChargeSmart and the iPhone batteries, and the combined remaining run time between the two.
