Following 12 months’ development, Netherlands-based Mujjo is releasing two new sleeve case collections for Apple products, including models for iPod, iPhone, iPad, and MacBook laptops.

The Understated Sleeves Collection Takes Perfectionism to a New Level
The name of Mujjo’s Understated collection is derived from the adjective understated (synonym: understated elegance): exhibiting restrained good taste in style, quality or design, takes the company’s sleeves to a new level, reworking every part of the design process from the ground up.
Mujjo says the designers started with the core, the materials, and obsessively tried to develop those to the next level. They managed to improve the signature materials; vegetable-tanned leather, felt, and gunmetal alloy hardware. True to their vision, these sleeves are contemporary and remarkably simple. They dont shout, look at me, but rather calmly hint of craftsmanship through their understated appearance and quality of materials.
Reworked Signature Leather
Mujjo spent months perfecting their leather. They managed to find ways to make it more durable, denser, and soft to touch. The updated leather feels smooth, with rich colors, and more intense tones. The designers also focused on its character. The leather wears in with use and acquires rich patina and2 polish over time, as it becomes part of your daily life. The full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather used is manufactured with care, waxed to extend durability, and carefully treated with aniline oil to enrich color tones. Due to the nature of full vegetable tanned leathers, it features a very dense and compact structure; a final buff is applied to the already short fibers to ensure a smooth underside with a sophisticated soft touch. The short fibers and dense structure eliminate the need for cosmetic additions like lining and painted edges. The quality of the leather enables Mujjo to leave it cosmetically untouched while emphasizing the character of the material and staying true to the concept of the collection; nude leather and raw edges emphasize the understated and sleek appearance.

Mujjo’s Slim Fit sleeves are specifically designed for iPhone 5s, iPad mini and iPad Air. Cleverly cut out of one single piece of full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, these sleeves create a slim and secure space for your device with an integrated pocket in just one stitch. Marked by a slant line, a integrated pocket enables you to conveniently store a few essentials. Its incredibly simple, functional, and remarkably elegant.
Another new design is the leather iPhone 5s wallet case, designed to eliminate bulky pockets and fat wallets, lined with suede made from the underside of our vegetable-tanned leather.
