How Microsoft Plans to Make Windows 10 A Hit

Tech expert and Chief Technical Officer of SRV Network, Inc. Karl Volkman says that after years of playing second-fiddle to Apple and Apple products, Microsoft is has designs on making a big splash in the tech communities with Windows 10. One way they are working to achieve this objective is by looking for developers to add cachet to the program with new apps and capabilities.

“Right now, Microsoft is looking to diversify their portfolio and really make Windows 10 a hit, says Volkman, “Their annual ‘Build’ conference is going to be all about showcasing their new apps and really proving that they can do smart devices just as good as (if not better than) Apple.”

While critics doubt Microsoft’s abilities, particularly due to recent failures in this field, Volkman thinks they are headed in the right direction. “Microsoft has really listened to what their customers want,” he notes. “They have been open to criticism and changing course, which is a crucial ability for companies in this space.”
