Outline 3.7 Brings Support for iPad Pro and Apple Pencil

Sacramento, California based Gorillized Corporation has announced its release of Outline 3.7, an update to the smart digital notebook for iOS. Outline offers such features as powerful formatting tools, various types of content (text, images, inks, tags, web content, etc.), intuitive interface, synchronization options and Microsoft OneNote compatibility. This digital notebook lets you increase the productivity and effectiveness of work, education, research and everyday life.

Outline 3.7 introduces revamped UI with convenient navigation tree and support for iPad Pro and Apple Pencil.

New navigation tree is an improved way to manage notebooks in Outline. You can now more easily open or create notebooks, share or close them, access notebook’s settings or view all your notebooks in one place. By tapping a special button, you can quickly open and hide navigation tree. Also, you can now expand the structure of each notebook, review it, quickly find required information or even change notebook’s structure adding new sections and groups directly from the navigation tree. New popover menus offer a quick access to sharing and other options, so there is no need now to go to the main screen each time when you, for example, want to share or open your notebook or change its cover.

With new big iPad Pro which comes with a stylus called the Apple Pencil, you get more opportunities for note-taking. Its 12.9-inch Retina display provides more screen area, so it’s easy to view information on the screen without additional scrolling. These new devices make handwriting and drawing modes more effective and turn Outline into a powerful tool for writing notes, ideas and plans.

Outline for iPad is available worldwide through the App Store in the Productivity category, its regular price is $11.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies), but version 3.7 for the first week after release will cost $2.99. There is also a lite version of Outline, where Microsoft OneNote compatibility is offered via an in-app purchase.
