FileWave Ensures Support for Latest Apple OS Updates and Announces Next Major Release

FileWave multi-platform device management providers announced support for Apple’s release yesterday of iOS 10.3, macOS Sierra 10.12.4, and tvOS 11.2. FileWave has a history of providing zero-day support for Apple, and the Spring 2017 releases are no exception. FileWave customers can rest assured knowing new Apple devices are supported and existing Apple devices can be safely upgraded ensuring existing FileWave features and functionalities work on all Apple devices. New features available in the new Apple operating systems will be fully integrated in FileWave 12, slated for an early April release.

FileWave 12 Release

In addition to supporting the new features available in iOS, macOS, and tvOS, FileWave 12 will build upon FileWave’s long-time commitment to multi-platform support by adding Chrome OS to the already long list of supported operating systems. FileWave administrators can already manage macOS, iOS, Windows, and Android devices, and soon will be able include Chromebook devices all from one console.

Other features coming with the release of FileWave 12 include native UEFI imaging support and numerous improvements to FileWave Admin.
