Tablet Owners Are Likely to Keep Their PCs Too, Study Says

LAPTOP Mag’s Lisa Eadicicco notes that there’s no denying that today’s technology is shifting toward a mobile focus, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you should ditch your laptop just yet. She cites a new study reporting that early adopters of emerging technology are likely to hold on to their old gadgets too, suggesting that tablets may not actually replace notebooks – the Harris Poll survey reporting that 78 percent of tablet owners are also likely to own a laptop, versus the 60 percent of non-tablet owners that are probable to own a notebook.

Hey, d’ya think? I love my iPad, and it’s getting hard to imagine how I ever got along without it, but it’s nowhere close to being a satisfactory do-all replacement for my laptops, and still won’t be with iOS 7 based reports.
