More Than 40 Percent Of YouTube Traffic Now From Mobile Devices

IDG News Service’s Zach Miners reports that YouTube’s presence on mobile devices has exploded in the past couple of years, according to Google CEO Larry Page said during the company’s quarterly earnings call on Thursday.

Mr. Page noted that in 2011, just six percent of traffic for the Google-owned video service came from mobile devices. The figure is now 41 percent.
