Other World Computing announced at last week’s CES 2014 that it has expanded its array of OWC Thunderbolt cable offerings with three new optical cable lengths of 10M, 20M, and 30M. The longer length option allows, for example, noisy storage appliances to be moved to an equipment closet for a quiet and productive workplace.

OWC’s cables utilize the latest Thunderbolt chipsets for high-speed 10Gb/s Thunderbolt and 20Gb/s Thunderbolt 2 devices and enhance video workflow with support for faster 4K video transfers + 4K display capabilities via DisplayPort 1.2.

You can Daisy-chain up to six Thunderbolt devices, or use them for Target Disk Mode between two Macs that support Thunderbolt. They also enable new iMacs as a display for a MacBook Pro equipped with Thunderbolt.
