Samsung Launches Convertible 2-in-1 Notebook 7 spin For Business Users

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. has announced availability of the Samsung Notebook 7 spin, a new laptop convertible 2-in-1 that easily converts into a tablet for business users who require flexibility both in the office and on the go.

Available in 13.3- and 15.6-inch models, the new enterprise ready devices run Windows 10 Pro and come equipped with a number of features that enable users to work harder and better.

“The Notebook 7 spin is a testament to Samsung’s mission to design with purpose, providing professionals with a flexible solution that does not lock users in to just one form factor or set of features,” says Eric McCarty, Vice President Enterprise Mobile Product Marketing. “Offering the flexibility of a convertible 2-in-1, housed within a modern laptop design, this new device gives users the tools they need to enhance collaboration and be more efficient in and out of todays workplace.”

Two Models to Fit Business Needs

The Notebook 7 spin is offered in two form factors. The 13.3-inch model is the device for office knowledge workers who need to collaborate, share ideas, and work across various teams and locations. Powered by an Intel i5 processor and built with a 500GB hard drive, this model is designed for users looking over Microsoft Word documents and presentations and driving the vision of their team.

The 15.6-inch form factor, powered by an Intel i7 processor, is built for business users who need every ounce of processing power, while enjoying the luxury of fast access to data. The combination of a one terabyte hard drive and 128GB SSD allows for quick boot up and optimal OS and application performance. This model is ideal for power users who need to seamlessly handle a multitude of tasks, while cutting down on load times, so they can do more at once.

Both models run Windows 10 Pro.

“The 2-in-1 convertible design of Samsungs new Notebook 7 spin gives enterprise users incredible flexibility coupled with great Windows 10 Pro capabilities,” says Jordan Chrysafidis, Vice President of US OEM, Microsoft Corp. “Samsung continues to bring valued innovations to the Windows ecosystem and the Notebook 7 spin is a strong addition to Samsungs growing collection of Windows 10 devices.”

Flexibility with One Flip

With one flip, the Notebook 7 spin uses Continuum to transform from laptop to tablet, while sporting a 360 degree touch display offering incredible viewing angles. Business users can write, design, and create with a full keyboard, then flip the screen to collaborate with co-workers or share a presentation from any angle.

Windows 10 is Microsoft’s best and most secure operating system yet, and Windows 10 Pro provides added encryption and control options that are crucial for IT administrators. The Notebook 7 spin also works with Microsoft Office to help users be more productive, and includes Cortana, Microsofts personal digital assistant, and BitLocker to help protect the device if ever lost or stolen.

Samsung’s Dedicated Business Support also provides assistance to enterprise users. Samsung Protection Plus warranty options provide access to extended service contracts to cover breakdowns, as well as replacement for accidental damage during the warranty period.

The 13-inch model starts at $899.99, and the 15.6-inch version at $1,299.99

The Notebook 7 spin is available from July 18 through select Samsung resellers and channel partners. Local availability can be determined by calling 1-866-SAM-4BIZ or by visiting http://samsung.com/business.
