Proseezion – Professional Image Quality Camera App For iOS

John Konstantaras, an individual developer from Athens, Greece, has announced the release of Proseezion 1.7 — his new camera app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. Proseezion claims superior image quality higher than the device’s actual capabilities. An innovative image stacking technology allows photographers to have adjustable real dynamic range and exposure, having almost no noise even in extremely low light conditions. Details and color are also enhanced with manual focus for precision clarity.

A real time histogram helps exposing the scene correctly and the final result is noise-free with more detail even from RAW in low light conditions. Proseezion does not have techniques like tone-mapping or exposure-fusion to extend the dynamic-range of the photo, instead it introduces a real-dynamic-range simulation keeping colors real and saturated. Proseezion requires a tripod since it takes around 20 seconds for each shot and is not for beginner photographers.

Main Features:
* Adjustable real-dynamic-range. The sensor’s dynamic range can be adjusted from normal (N 0.00) to maximum dynamic range (N-1.00). There is also the capability to reduce the dynamic up to N 1.00. N value comes from the zone-system film development procedure and is metered in steps.

* Exposure and real-dynamic-range panning adjustment. Proseezion allows setting both real-dynamic-range (N /-1.00) and exposure (EV /-4.00) with a single on-screen panning gesture. Vertical panning sets real-dynamic-range and horizontal exposure. While panning, Proseezion simulates the result on the live preview and the histogram. The precision of the adjustments has two decimal points.

* Manual focus. Long pressing on selected live preview spot, Proseezion zooms and allows manual focus. There is also the option to tap on live preview spot in order to focus automatically.

* Optimum ISO – Proseezion automatically selects the lowest possible ISO for the shot to ensure optimum results
* Horizon angle indicator – Proseezion ensures that your photos will never need rotation with an aviation-style horizon indicator
* Full metadata with date and location – Proseezion saves photos with full metadata to review the settings, location, date, EV and N values used
* Self timer – Proseezion has a 5 second timer to get out of the scene before any shot and avoid shaken photos
