Apple introduces iPad 2, coming to stores on March 11th

 Apple released the iPad 2 today alongside iOS 4.3. The iPad 2 sports a number of improvements and will be available starting March 11th.

The iPad 2 is 33% thinner and 0.2 pounds lighter. It features a dual-core Apple A5 CPU that is twice as fast as before and includes improves graphics which are reportedly nine times faster than in the original iPad. The iPad 2 includes front and rear facing video cameras with FaceTime, a gyroscope, a new HDMI out cable, and is available in either black or white.

The iPad 2 will be available in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + 3G configurations – for both AT&T as well as Verizon. Price points and available memory options remain the same.
