Apple introduces new iPad Pro with M1 Apple CPU

Apple today introduced a new iPad Pro with Apple’s M1 Apple CPU. Main features include:

– M1 CPU
– 8-Core CPU
– 50% faster performance, 75X faster than original iPad Pro
– 8-Core GPU with 40% faster performance, 1500% faster than original iPad Pro
– All day battery life
– New 2TB storage option
– USB C port with Thunderbolt, 4X more bandwidth
– Support for 6K external displays and many accessories
– 5G cellular connectivity
– Improved cameras
– New ultrawide 12MP camera with Center Stage
– 600 nit brightness display in 11″ model
– 12.9″ model features Liquid Retina XDR mini-LED display with 1000 nits brightness

Available April 30th and shipping the second week of may, the new 2021 M1 iPad Pros will start at $799 for the 11″ model and $1099 for the 12.9″ iPad Pro.
