Apple updates MacBook Pros with slightly faster processors and more RAM

Apple updated 13″ and 15″ Retina MacBook Pros today with slightly faster Haswell processors. 13″ models now ship with 8GB of RAM standard, while 15″ MacBook Pros ship with 16GB across the board. Most other options remain the same. The new configurations are now as follows:

– 13″ Retina MacBook Pro, 2.6GHz dual-core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD: $1299
– 13″ Retina MacBook Pro, 2.6GHz dual-core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD: $1499
– 13″ Retina MacBook Pro, 2.8GHz dual-core i7 processor, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD: $1799

– 15″ Retina MacBook Pro, 2.2GHz quad-core i7 processor, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD: $1999
– 15″ Retina MacBook Pro, 2.5GHz quad-core i7 processor, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD: $2499
