Apple’s 7th generation iPad features 10.2″ Retina display, A10 chip

Apple updated their iPad today with a new 7th generation model. The new 2019 iPad features an improved 10.2″ Retina display, up from the 9.7″, an Apple A10 chip, and support for Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboards.

According to Apple: “The new iPad combines the power and capability of a computer with the ease of use and versatility you’d never expect from one. And now it’s even more versatile, with a larger 10.2‑inch Retina display, support for the full-size Smart Keyboard, and the amazing new capabilities of iPadOS. It’s unbelievably fun. And unmistakably iPad.”

The new 2019 10.2″ iPad is available in Space Gray, Silver, and Gold. 32GB models start at $329, and 128GB iPads are available starting at $429. Both WiFi and Cellular iPads are available. Apple is accepting orders for the new iPad today with shipping starting on 9/30/19.
