Apple introduces the iPhone 13

Apple iPhone 13Apple today introduced their next generation iPhone, the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro/Max, and iPhone 13 mini. While featuring a designs, and sizes, as iPhone 12 models, the iPhone 13 models have several new updated features.

For the iPhone 13 and 13 mini:

– Durable ceramic front display shield
– Super Retina XDR OLED display. 28% brighter, 800 nits brightness with a 1200 nits peak
– 20% smaller notch for the front camera system
– 5 new colors: pink, blue, midnight, starlight, product red
– Bigger battery with up to 2.5 more hours
– A15 Bionic 6-core CPU at 5nm, 50% faster than any other smartphone
– 4-Core CPU, 30% faster than any other smartphone
– New 12MP wide camera
– Cinematic video mode
– Improved 5G

Prices will start at $699 for the iPhone 13 mini and $799 for the iPhone 13. Storage is doubled this year, starting at 128GB and ranging up to 512GB.

For the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max:

– Stainless steel band
– New colors: graphite, gold, silver, sierra blue
– 20% smaller notch for the front camera system
– Durable ceramic front display shield: 6.1″ and 6.7″
– IP68 water resistance
– Sapphire crystal camera lenses in the back
– Bigger battery, 1.5-2.5 hours longer than the iPhone 12
– A15 Bionic
– 5-Core GPU, 50% faster graphics than any other smartphone
– Super retina XDR OLED display with 1000 nits peak brightness outdoors
– ProMotion display: 120Hz display refresh rate
– New camera system: telephoto, wide, and ultra wide
– ProRes video

Prices will start at $999 for the iPhone 13 Pro and $1099 for the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Storage is doubled this year, starting at 128GB and ranging up to 1TB.

Preorders for the new iPhone 13 Family begin Friday the 17th of September and will be available on September 24th.

The new 2021 iPhone lineup is as follows: iPhone SE starting at $399, iPhone 11 from $499, iPhone 12 from $599 followed by iPhone 13 models.
