Apple Acknowledges New MacBook Air Wi-Fi Issues; Investigating; Customers Reportedly Receiving Replacements

9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman reports that over the past few days, a notable nuimber of users have complained about WiFi issues plaguing the new 11-inch and 13-inch MacBook Air models released at WWDC, and new reports claiming that the MacBook Air WiFi issues are due to networking issues in OS X

Happily, Apple is now on the case, with Apple having instructed Geniuses and Advisors at its stores to capture MacBook Air Mid 2013 computers with any Wi-Fi issues, and according to a source at Apple, is working to independently identify what exactly is causing the new WiFi-related problems.

Gurman says he’s also heard from at least a couple of customers experiencing MacBook Air WiFi issues who’ve successfully swapped out their notebooks for new ones.
