iBusiness Technologies Announces iReplenish to Help Restore Forests Through iPad Adoption

iBusiness Technologies, partnered nationally with Apple to provide businesses with iPad-based MobiliForms, has announced that for every system purchased it will plant 50 trees through The Nature Conservancy to help replenish forests in the United States. US companies spend $120 billion on printed forms annually and while the US is 5% of the world’s population, it consumes more than 30% of the worlds paper.

Replacing paper with digital not only saves our customers significant costs, but spares countless trees and eliminates related environmental impacts of moving completed forms by company truck or delivery service. The environmental impacts of excessive paper consumption are simply too great to ignore when cheaper and smarter alternatives exist

MobiliForms eliminates the need for any organization to use paper forms. Instead, users complete their familiar, identical forms on the iPad which can also embed photos, signatures and sound. Completed forms are transmitted instantly from anywhere to the home office.

“The iBusiness Technologies iReplenish initiative plants 50 trees on behalf of each customer that implements MobiliForms during 2015. Replacing paper with digital not only saves our customers significant costs, but spares countless trees and eliminates related environmental impacts of moving completed forms by company truck or delivery service. The environmental impacts of excessive paper consumption are simply too great to ignore when cheaper and smarter alternatives exist,” comments Steve Metzman, President of iBusiness Technologies.

The Nature Conservancys Plant a Billion Trees project in the United States and abroad rejuvenate iconic forests by planting tree seedlings in areas that have been highly degraded as well as assisting the natural regeneration of the forest. The Nature Conservancy’s goal is to plant one billion trees by 2025.
