Free Aura ‘Ultimate’ Mac App For Gmail Updated For El Capitan

Miami, Florida based Crosscoded has announced Aura 1.2.0, an update to the Mac app for Gmail. Aura mixes the power of a native client with the flexibility of the Gmail web app with support for up to six accounts, global hotkeys, native notifications, selective notifications for important messages and per-account unread message counts in your menubar. With full support for El Capitan, Aura now gives users global hotkeys for creating new e-mails, open e-mail links in your default e-mail account and much more.

Aura brings native, OS X notifications for Gmail to the desktop. With support for up to six Gmail accounts, Aura is a powerful replacement for Google’s discontinued ‘Gmail Notifier’ app. Users can opt to only receive notifications for ‘important’ messages. Per account unread counts for each Gmail account are easily accessible from the menubar.

Aura is built from the ground-up for OS X Yosemite and El Capitan using OS X technologies and is fully localized in English, Spanish and French.

System Requirements:
* OS X 10.10 or later
* 64-bit processor
* 4.6 MB

Aura 1.2.0 is Free (with In-App Purchase) and available worldwide through the Mac App Store in the Productivity category.
