PDF Forms 4.0 Brings iOS 9 Compatibility, Support for iCloud Drive
DAR Software has announced the release and immediate availability of PDF Forms 4.0, a major upgrade to their flagship iOS application. Version 4.0 expands accessibility of the document sources with support for iCloud Drive, as well as adds support for two robust capabilities introduced in iOS 9 — Multitasking and Spotlight search.
PDF Forms is one of the most demanded application for filling out PDF forms and signing PDF documents on iPhones and iPads. The app parses PDF documents, identifies editable or dynamic fields and allows to complete required information guiding the user from one field to another. After the user is done adding information, he or she can easily endorse his/her signature and return the document by email or via the preferred cloud account.
PDF Forms has unique features for quick and convenient document processing. The app features multiple options for creating and adding signatures. The users are offered to create a new signature or add one from the gallery. The Signature Galery allows keeping which the user can keep in sync among multiple devices.
Apart from creating a hand-written signature and then modifying its color and line width, the user has the option to take the signature snapshot with embedded camera and insert it into the documents. Alternatively, the app suggests scanning one’s signature with the dedicated Signature Scanner and inserts its processed image int the document.
Version 4.0 brings iOS 9 compatibility and fixes know incompatibility issues. Also, it enables its users to multitask in the Split View and find the documents stored in PDF Forms File Manager using the Spotlight Search. The major upgrade also introduces support for iCloud Drive thus adding one additional critical source for documents.
