Avoid Speeding Tickets And Camera Traps With Live Speed Limit Alerts For iOS

Boston, Massachusetts based indie developer InchWest has released Live Speed Limit Alerts 2.42, an app to help avoid expensive speeding tickets and camera traps. This app for iPhone and iPad provides real time voice alerts based on “actual” speed limits. Unlike similar apps, speed limits are automatically updated based on the current location.

Live Speed Limit Alerts issues voice-based alert notifications when the speed limit on a route changes. If the speed limit is exceeded, the app notifies its user with audible beeps (or spoken speed notifications). Police traps, cop cars and cameras are everywhere these days – Live Speed helps in avoiding expensive speeding tickets and traffic violations.

“The app is meant to offer peace of mind for drivers by allowing them to enjoy their drive without worrying about mistakenly going over the speed limit and getting pulled over by cops. No one enjoys that.” explained Praneeth Veerepalli, Head of Product at InchWest. Live Speed Limit Alert caters to a large segment of the driving population, including teen drivers, long commuters and vacationers.

Insurance company, esurance says “The total cost of the average speeding ticket is $150, but maximum fines for speeding vary by more than $2,400 between states.” Live Speed Limit Alert helps in avoiding expensive speeding tickets and traffic violations especially on long drives and in unfamiliar roads.

The app is designed to run in the background (talking and audible alerts) so that it can be used alongside other navigation or music apps in the foreground.

Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
* Requires iOS 8.0 or later
* 13.0 MB

Live Speed Limit Alerts 2.42 is 5.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Navigation category.
