Apple CEO Tim Cook: Microsoft Surface ‘Compromised, Confusing’

The Register’s Rik Myslewski reports that while Apple CEO Tim Cook hasn’t yet got his hands on a Microsoft Surface, but commented yesterday that based on what he’s read, it sounds like “it’s a fairly compromised, confusing product,” further suggesting during Apple’s fiscal 4th quarter financials conference call Thursday, that the Surface’s attempts to be all things to all men, observing: “I suppose you could design a car that flies and floats, but I don’t think it would do all of those things very well.”
