It’s Official: Apple Issues Invitations To Sep. 9 Special Event; iPhone 6 and iOS 8 Announcements Anticipated
Apple has issued one of its characteristically cryptic press invitations for a special event to be held at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in hometown Cupertino on Sept. 9, 2014 at 10:00 am.
“Wish we could say more,” reads reads the press invite, but widely anticipated will be unveiling of 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 models. It is also speculated that an “iWatch” wearable computing device will be previewed.
And of course if the iPhone 6 debuts as expected, it will be accompanied by the next iteration of the iOS – iOS 8.
The iPhone 6 will probably reach consimers’ hands about ten days after the unveiling — probably September 10.
