Captin is a free macOS utility that provides a heads-up display (HUD) of your Mac’s caps lock status along with several other caps lock notification options – both visual and acoustic. Especially useful for touch typists who don’t look at the keyboard.

The HUD provides instant caps lock status visual feedback which can also be shown in a Menu Bar icon and/or a Theme-aware Dock icon with notifications customization of color, duration, size, and sound.

Captin also supports multiple displays, and the user can adjust its position for each display. A Low-Profile Mode setting lets Captin work with minimum system resource requirement.
